Many passengers injured as bus-truck collide

BIKANER: Twenty-four people were injured when a private bus collided with a truck near Noorsar crossing in Poogal village. The collision was so severe that the bus overturned.
SHO Devendra Singh of Jamsar police station said that on Saturday afternoon around 12.15 pm a private bus collided with a truck. The bus was coming from 465 RD Chhattargarh to Bikaner and was full of passengers.It was hit by a truck near Noorsar crossing from the front. The nearby villagers helped the passengers and called the police and 108 ambulance. The SHO said that the injured were sent to a trauma center in Bikaner where they are being treated. The truck driver fled from the spot after the accident, however, the truck has been seized. Singh added that police has registered a case under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC.
